Escribiente sponsors one or two yearly member gallery exhibitions, plus our own special section in the Creative Arts building at the New Mexico State Fair held every year in September. This is a chance for every calligrapher, no matter what age or skill level, to exhibit creative work.
New Mexico State Fair
The New Mexico State Fair is held at Expo New Mexico
September 9–25, 2011.
Our calligraphy exhibit is held at the Creative Arts building, and includes many amazing pieces of high quality works that are worthy of exhibition in any venue. Some of the entries are shown below (excerpt from the Fall 2011 newsletter).

Escribiente volunteers will once again be on site creating beautiful calligraphic bookmarks for the school children (and big kids too!). One per person please.
